Shawn Ilg - Managing Partner
Shawn Ilg leads Entegra with more than 30 years of professional experience. Areas of expertise include finance, law, real estate, human resources, compliance, insurance, corporate management, and technology. He has licenses in law, real estate and insurance.
Shawn's varied background provides a unique blend of real-world experience and solid guidance that enables Entegra Group clients to minimize risk and maximize profit. As a successful business advisor, Shawn sees his role as much more than answering questions. He assesses each organization's strengths and weaknesses and develops insightful ideas that help clients grow and take advantage of the opportunities before them.
Shawn earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska, a master's degree in business administration from Drake University, and a law degree from Creighton University. Prior to co-founding Entegra Group, Ilg was with Norwest Bank in Minneapolis and a partner in the law firm of Downing, Alexander, Wood & Ilg. He also co founded CoSentry, an IT and disaster recovery firm with multiple facilities in the Midwest and has owned several other businesses. This experience sets him apart from other professional advisors since he has “been in the shoes” of his clients as a business owner and someone that has been involved in many startups.
Shawn has always been active in the community with most of his donated time being spent with the Nebraska Leadership Seminar (NLS), a non-profit group that conducts leadership and business programs for high school students. He was named Corporate President of the Year multiple times and International Volunteer of the Year for his work with NLS. Ross Friehe - Head of Mergers & Acquisitions Division | Business Advisor
Ross Friehe brings over a decade and a half of professional business experience to the group. Additionally, Friehe is a licensed Attorney and holds an active real estate license. He spent his first half of his professional career at two Fortune 500 companies before transitioning into his current role. Since joining Entegra Group in 2017, he has successfully advised hundreds of clients in areas of real estate, business planning, human resources, insurance, relationship & account management, banking & finance, and sales/marketing, with an emphasis in commercial transactions and contract drafting/negotiations.
Ross believes in a thoughtful, individually-tailored and curated approach to each of his clients’ needs and goals. He has a proven track record of successfully navigating various transactions and opportunities because of his ability to read people and assess personalities, while placing emphasis on these four core values of his: 1) ease of doing business/efficiency; 2) communication; 3) accountability; and 4) action/implementation.
Friehe earned his law degree and business law certification from Creighton University School of Law and his bachelor's degree, with a focus in business marketing and management, from Bellevue University. He spends his donated time volunteering at junior golf camps, is active in various community projects, and currently serves on the Board of Directors as President for a House of Grace.
Outside of work, Ross enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, DIY projects, traveling (exploring new cities), snowboarding, tennis, pickleball, watching movies & documentaries, cooking/eating, & reading.
Derek Colwell - Business Advisor
Derek Colwell is an accomplished professional with a wealth of business expertise in many areas. He has honed his skills in diverse domains such as real estate, sales and marketing, software development and business consulting, most notably accumulating ten years of invaluable consulting experience with a Fortune 200 company.
He firmly believes in a strategic approach built upon three fundamental cornerstones. First, his knack for business assessment and meticulous analysis enables the identification of inefficiencies and the formulation of cost-effective remedies. Second, he places a premium on streamlining the ease of doing business, ensuring that day today functions are conducted with maximum efficiency. Third, accountability is ingrained in every facet of his work, fostering transparency and trust with his clients.
With his extensive business acumen, complemented by a wealth of real-world experience, Derek empowers Entegra clients to achieve their most critical objectives. He offers a unique blend of insight and expertise, creating a roadmap for success tailored to each client's individual goals. Derek’s academic foundation is rooted in a degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha where he specialized in information system management. In his spare time, Derek loves to travel and spend time with his family.
Sally Vandeberghe Business Advisor
Sally is a great asset for Entegra clients for many reasons, starting with the fact that she understands the tremendous value of connecting people with advisors and assets that will help them propel business to the next level. A University of Nebraska graduate in Broadcasting and Advertising, she has handled all aspects of marketing and multi-media advertising for large local retailers and non-profits. She went on to execute acquisition marketing programs for Diners Club International, Disney, Wells Fargo and more. As a power-networker and the 2025 Board Chair for West O Chamber, her current focus is on assessing the needs of clients and offering advice and solutions based on her experience and that of the Entegra team.
Zach Bailey - Marketing Advisor
Zach’s love for photography, video production and marketing in general has been a great asset for Entegra and its clients. He has over 10 years of experience in this area and has helped with commercials, branding, social media, and related marketing strategy. No what the budget, he strives to make it look like a Marvel movie and help the client understand true marketing goals and how to get there. In his spare time, he moonlights as an aquarist and has a total of 11 fish tanks currently teaming with life.
